A customer who can see what you've built before is easier to win. The Gallery keeps your best photos of finished jobs in one place, in categories, instead of buried in your phone's camera roll among everything else.
Step by step
Open the Gallery
Press Gallery at the top of the designer, beside Settings.
Add your photos
Press Add photos and pick them from your phone or computer, several at once. Pick a category first (Wardrobes, say) and they go straight into it; under All, you're asked which category they go in.
Show a customer
Tap the category, then a photo: it opens full screen, where you can zoom in and move around it as you would in your phone's own photos.
Keep it tidy
Categories names, adds, orders and takes away categories. Select picks photos to move to another category or take out.
The categories
A Gallery starts with Alcove units, Wardrobes, Bookcases, Media walls, Kitchens, Bathrooms and Home office. Rename any of them, add your own (Stairs, Beds, Garden rooms), and put them in the order you like with the arrows. Taking a category away keeps its photos, under Not in a category.
Quick to load, and private
- Made smaller on your phone first. A photo is made no bigger than it needs to be to fill a screen (2048 pixels across at most) before it's sent, so it uploads and opens quickly, even on a poor signal at a customer's.
- Where it was taken is removed. A phone photo carries its location; it's taken off as the photo is made smaller.
- Only you can see them. They're kept privately in your account. A photo you open full size opens at a private link that works for a week.
- Your phone's photos aren't touched. Taking a photo out of the Gallery deletes it from JoinerKit only.
The Gallery needs a signal, as the photos are kept online. Open the categories you'll want before you lose one, and they'll have loaded.
How many photos
A free account keeps 50 photos, and the Gallery says how many you have. Pro keeps as many as you like. Taking photos out frees their places. If Pro ends, nothing is deleted, but you can't add more while you have 50 or more.
Questions
Can I add photos from my phone?
Yes. Press Add photos in the Gallery and pick them from your phone's photos, several at once. They're made smaller on the phone first, so they upload quickly.
Can my customers see my Gallery?
No, only you can. Show them a photo on your phone or tablet: tap it to open it full screen.
How many photos can I keep?
50 on a free account, and as many as you like on Pro. Taking photos out frees their places.
Can I add iPhone (HEIC) photos?
From an iPhone, yes: it sends them as JPEGs itself. On a computer, a HEIC photo can't be read: save it as a JPEG first.
