About JoinerKit
JoinerKit is a design, cutting list and pricing tool for carpenters and joiners. It's made in England by Paul, with James Oliver of J Oliver Carpentry: family, and a skilled, professional chippy who uses it on his own jobs.
How it started
JoinerKit began as tools Paul built for James. First something to keep his receipts in order, then a way to draw the wardrobes, bookcases and alcove units he makes and have the cutting list, the sheet layouts and the cost of the materials come straight from the drawing.
It grew from there, a job at a time: rooms of any shape, sloping ceilings, doors and windows, beds and loft frames, a 3D view for the customer and a quote to hand over. James still uses it for his own work, and checks how things are built, so it's made the way a joiner would make it.
What we stand by
Your prices, your numbers
Every figure comes from your own materials list and settings: your sheet sizes, your saw cut, the lengths of timber you buy, the runners you use. Where something's missing, it says so rather than guessing.
Materials, not your time
JoinerKit works out what a job takes. Your labour and your profit are yours to price, and you add them as you see fit.
One drawing, everything from it
The cutting list, the sheet layouts, the 3D view and the customer's quote all come from the same drawing, so they can't disagree.
Where you work
On a phone, a tablet or a laptop, and on site with no signal. Nothing to install.
Your work is yours
Your jobs are stored in London and only your account can see them. We don't track you, and we never sell your information or use it for advertising.
