Terms of use
Last updated 25 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and JoinerKit for using JoinerKit at joinerkit.com. By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them, especially the section on checking your figures.
Your account
- You must be 18 or over and give an email address you can receive mail at.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us straight away at contact@joinerkit.com if you think someone else has got into your account.
Plans and payment
- Free: one job, with every feature.
- Pro: £10 a month for as many jobs as you like, and deleting old jobs.
- Pro is paid monthly in advance, through our payment provider, Stripe. You can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the month you have paid for. We don't refund part months.
- If Pro ends, nothing is deleted: your jobs stay, but you can't start new ones beyond the Free limit.
- If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first.
Check your figures
JoinerKit works out drawings, cutting lists, quantities, sheet layouts and prices from the sizes, materials and prices you enter. It is a tool to help you, not a substitute for your own skill and judgement. Before you cut, order materials or send a quote, check the measurements, the figures and the prices yourself. JoinerKit does not give structural, building regulations or engineering advice, so get that from a qualified person where a job needs it.
Your work is yours
Everything you put into JoinerKit stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run JoinerKit for you. When you send a copy of a job to someone, they get their own copy, which is theirs to keep.
Using JoinerKit fairly
Please don't:
- use JoinerKit for anything unlawful, or to send anything offensive or harmful to other accounts
- try to get into other people's accounts, or test, break or get round our security
- copy JoinerKit, scrape it, or resell access to it
- put a heavy automated load on the service
Keeping JoinerKit running
We work to keep JoinerKit available and your work safe, and the designer keeps a copy on your device so you can work without a signal. But no service is perfect: there may be interruptions, and we may change, add or remove features as JoinerKit develops. If we ever close JoinerKit, we will give you at least 30 days' notice so you can print or save what you need.
Our responsibility to you
If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms don't take away. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that come from figures, drawings or prices not being checked before use, such as wasted materials, work that has to be redone or an underpriced quote, nor for loss of business or profit. Our total responsibility to you is limited to what you have paid us in the 12 months before the problem, or £100 if that is more.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; unless there is a serious reason not to, we will tell you first and give you the chance to put it right.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as JoinerKit grows. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in JoinerKit before it takes effect. Carrying on using JoinerKit after that means you accept the new terms.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protections of your own country's consumer law and can bring a claim there.
